Camp Life // Standing Rock

from 10.00

Kids playing football in camp as the sun sets on another long day.

The camp was working, breathing community. Everyone helped each other and made the camp one of the most beautiful places. It was a small community.

A school was set up, there were construction areas, kitchens, law tents, media and communication tents, an art tent, a women's counseling and healing area from past trauma and abuse, there was full medical area that included a midwife tent, a massage and acupuncture tent, a traditional doctor and herbal doctor tents, a trauma and therapy tent and a warming tent. There were meeting halls, dining halls, and communal sleeping spaces. They even had a vet tent and animal shelter.

In purchasing these photos, you receive a unique part of history and culture into your home and/or workplace while contributing to my work of advocating for the stories and causes of others and shedding light into dark places. 10% of sales will go to help the people of the Standing Rock Reservation and environmental protection.
